Can i transfer a yahoo email account to someone else?

I established an email ID for a non-profit role I played for the last 18 months. I will be transferring responsibility to someone else shortly and would like to give him the email account also. Can I do this? If so, then how?

Just give them your login/password information and they can easily take it over. If they change the password, then your ties to the account will certainly be gone. They'll probably want to change other personal details in the account as well.
Reply:You do bring up a valid point... if the password you use on that account is one that you use on other accounts, then you'll want to change the password to something neutral first. Then give that password to the person, so he/she won't know the password that you use on any other personal account. Report Abuse

Reply:just give them ur e-mail and password and then tell all the info so the person can change the pass if wanted.
