Reply:It may take a while. Sometimes emails take a while to come through for some reason. It's happened to me before.. I've registered on websites that are supposed to send an automatic registration email and it comes through a day later. Could it be something to do with the time difference maybe..

well try again and usually when account is blocked it doesn't give "cannot be displayed" but a yahoo page where they say invalid password or account doesn't exist

Send them an email to see if they reply. Basically they can be signed in to Yahoo but not necessarily in Yahoo Mail.

No, I do not think the email is super-slow. They have been rolling out software and converting many accounts, so the servers have been very busy. According to the Yahoo! Mail blog, they finished all the maintenance yesterday (March 13th).
As a suggestion, you might need to "clean-up" your browser's cache files and/or perform some maintence on your personal computer.

Mail plus is needed for pop forwarding to use with outlook and other mail progs which have the read receipt option, but it costs 19.99$ a year.
Note: even when using mail plus or any of the other mail progs, you do not have the guaranty that you get a read receipt because a recipient can opt out of sending such notices. Reason behind this: by denying a read receipt, you make sure that spammers don't know whether they hit a real mail address.

I have some yahoo email forwards that contain pics I cant see?

I try to use yahoo membership directory and get zero for the answer all the time. Even my own profile won't come up. Why can't I access my Yahoo email account?
For some reason I get an error message when I try to log into my Yahoo email which I have had for about 10 years. I have tried to find an email address for the administrators of Yahoo email without success. Is it that my spam messages exceeded 200? Instead of deleting them on a regular basis, I let them accumulate. I thought that Yahoo was supposed to delete them automatically.

Is there an automatic POP3 email setup for my yahoo email?
I need it to be set on my ObjectBar email checker but have no Idea how to go about the steps to setting it up. Is there someone that can at least walk me through it. And can I get it as a free service?

When writing an email the keyboard from time to time behave as if it has a mind of its own, ie if I key in 'a' I will get a random letter.

To open Computer Management, click Start, and then click Control Panel. Double-click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Computer Management.
You could also have gotton infected with a bug that does an auto correct maneuver. In word, you can program autocorrect to type in say "Remote control" whenever you type "rcc". I would run a anti viral software. Go to your Add/Remove software and look for anything you know for sure you didn't install or for something that was installed around the time you saw it happenning.

Right click on the desktop and create a new shortcut from the new option. In the Type the location of the Item field plz type http://mail.yahoo.com and type the name of the shorcut like Yahoo mail and select Finish. To change the Icon right click on the icon created and change the Icon.

It used to automatically put in the email address when you clicked on the craigslist email link, now you have to put it in by hand (ie copy it and paste it in) and the subject also..same thing. Anyone else experiencing this? WHY is yahoo blocking this..if they are...it is a non-profit organization. Maybe because they are one of the biggies that don't want free open internet (open to all websites)?

Does yahoo email offer the option of notifying sender that addressee definitely opened the mail?
Not that I know of, not in the basic version, anyways, I don't know about the paid for version. Outlook does, but I hate Outlook, so let me know if you find out that Yahoo does indeed do that!

Probably because if you report something as spam, it is blocked, but the messages come from different addresses and they are not blocked. So just keep ignoring them, reporting them as spam. Try to keep your email address off of sites that will share it with companies like that.

We have set it up so that emails sent to the yahoo account are read on the blackberry but if you delete on the handset, they remain on the computer and vice versa. Means we have to delete everything twice. Any help would be appreciated.

You should be able to do this without problems... Go to your mail in the handheld, click the scroll wheel, click options, click on Email Reconciliation, change the "Delete On: Handheld" to "Delete On: Mailbox and Handheld"

Click on the To: box and it will bring up all your contacts. Highlight them all by right clicking on the first contact and while holding in the right button, drag your mouse down through all your contacts (it should highlight all in blue)....once you have added....compose your email telling everyone your email address has changed. You can ask for a receipt notification (so you will know who has read it).

To satisfy my curiousity, I clicked on the message only to find I didn't even recognize what it was about. Where can you find info on possible fraudulent yahoo email addreses?
There is probably very little information to be had, especially if the email address is "fraudulent".
First, what do you mean by "fraudulent"? Is the email address actually invalid or is the person falsly claiming to be someone else?
Second, Yahoo does NOT vet the information provided by the user during their account creation. So, a user can put in anything they want (I am a 18 year old girl, can you prove that I am not?). As such, even if you found some information about the account, it is still suspect

How do I report someone with a yahoo address sending emails to a non-yahoo email address,?
I am trying to find out how to report an abuser who is sending email from a yahoo account to a non-yahoo account and it appears you can only report abusers if the email comes to a yahoo account and you hit the report abuse flag. Is there another way (email, web addy anything?)

Once your Yahoo account has been deleted. You cannot use that old account for yahoo messenger because it no longer exist.

You would have to open a new account with a new email address and password, but there is a way to keep the one you have and stop the spam.
Click on the "Options" link in the upper right of your yahoo mailbox. Click on "Spam Protection" and fill out the form, then click "Save Changes."
For spam that is in your mailbox now, check the box next to each one, go to the top of the list and click the "Spam" button.
Every message you report this way trains your Spam Guard filters to work better for you.
The messages you selected will be deleted and reported as spam. The senders of the messages will be added to your blocked addresses list. Soon your spam mail will diminish.
Reply:choose a name with a good combination of upper and lower case letters, numbers and characters. The more unconventional the name, the least likely you'll receive spam.

You can delete the account two ways. The first is not to log in for 4 months and Yahoo! will deactivate due to non-usage.

The second way you need to use a link. Make sure to read the link thoroughly. You are closing more than your e-mail account. Once you delete the account you will not be able to recover your account account. You will need to click the "Account Deletion" and then enter your password. The Account Deletion page will come up and at the bottom you can close the account. Here is the link.

Does yahoo email offer the option of notifying sender that addressee definitely opened the mail?
Not that I know of, not in the basic version, anyways, I don't know about the paid for version. Outlook does, but I hate Outlook, so let me know if you find out that Yahoo does indeed do that!

I have a bunch of old emails on an old email address, and I'm getting really sick of having to check in on my old emails just to make sure the email address doesn't go defunct. Is there a way that I can take those emails and just move them to a different email address?
