I want to De-activate my yahoo email address, but I don't want to have to get a new yahoo name to use with messenger.
How do I de-activate my yahoo email, but still use my ID to log into Yahoo Messenger?
If you deactivate your Yahoo Mail account, you also lose access to all Yahoo services, including Yahoo Messenger.
Not using your Yahoo Mail for 4 months will deactivate it.
Reply:de-actvating your email account wont give you privilege to use the same id to log-in with your yahoo messenger?
if you dont want to receive e-mail from somebody just simply block his/her e-mail address.. so you wont receive unwanted e-mails..
Reply:just don't sign into email as you cant delete it or stop it and you can still log into regular yahoo
