On Yahoo an email marked as Spam also blocked the address. No longer! So how do I now block multiple addresses?

The only way seems to be to open each Spam ( which I don't want to do) to get the email address %26amp; add them one at a time to Blocked Addresses.

When Yahoo updated the original mail page---they changed the action of the spam tab..

Clicking the spam tab,(on inbox messages) no longer deletes that mail,-- NOR --does it block the sender.

It just sends it to the spam folder, and future mails from that address also goes to spam folder. You still have the ability to open emails, and click the "not spam" tab---AND

Yahoo still deletes at preset times.

If you wanted---you could change the spam setting to delete immediately, anything arriving in the spam folder (you'll never see any of them).

Mail page%26gt;%26gt;options%26gt;%26gt;mail options%26gt;%26gt;Spam Protection. Make the adjustment as you like, and then click "save changes".

I think they made this change cause sending "spam" addresses to the blocked list,--- was never very effective anyway---since spammers change their address with each mailing, and slip past the blocking.

OF course. you can still manually block addresses. (One at a time, after opening them----which is NOT good).

(mail page--options--block addresses)

Reply:Why can't YAHOO ADD A FEATURE/OPTION so that either everything in the spam folder can be added to the blocked list or check marked items could be added to the blocked messages. Doesn't seem to take much thought for a programmer to do that. Maybe YAHOO could even ASK USERS about some changes. Report Abuse

Reply:Make sure the Yahoo Spamguard is on. Click on Options, Mail Options and Spam. Check that top box to turn it on.
