Scuba didnt really answer your question but did make a point. If you get that message then it never got to the inbox. But right now, unfortunately, there is no way of knowing the the person you wanted to get the email actually read it or not. Only AOL has that that I am aware of. I wish that yahoo did have it. Its one of the few things that AOL has that is actually good.

Well there is nothing that you can do with the email you sent; but there are websites that attach tracking information (including Outlook but it does so with the other persons permission) that will allow you to know if your email was read, deleted without reading, forwarded, and delivered. Most charge a fee but just do a google or Yahoo! search :) on email trackers and find one (if you need one now) that best suits you...
