I have a Yahoo email account but when I go to Mozilla Thunderbird, it says connection timed out eventhough my email connection is fine. Also, I'm using the portable version. If you do not know what it is, then come here http://portableapps.com/apps
How can I set up a Yahoo email account on Mozilla Thunderbird?
I use both the regular version of Thunderbird and the portable apps version, with no difficulty. BUT... to access your Yahoo account with an email client program like Thunderbird, the account must be the upgraded version (Y.Mail Plus). Free accounts cannot be accessed this way.
